Do I need a wipe warmer or bottle warmer?

Wipe warmers

A wipe warmer's whole job is taking the chill off wipes for nappy changes — genuinely nice in the newborn weeks if you have the counter space and budget, but almost never rated as essential by parents a few months in. Most babies adjust to room-temperature wipes without any fuss after the very early days.

Bottle warmers

These earn their keep more than wipe warmers if you're preparing several bottles a day, since they're faster and more consistent than a jug of warm water — useful at 3am when consistency matters and patience is low. But they're not essential: standing a bottle in a jug or bowl of warm (not boiling) water works just as well, just slightly slower, and needs no counter space or extra washing-up.
