Measure before you buy
Will that pushchair fit your boot?
Compare the folded size with your actual boot and its opening. Keep room for the rest of family life.
Measure the route into the boot, too
Measure between the wheel arches, from the rear seat to the closed boot lid, and up to the parcel shelf. Then measure the narrowest opening. A large luggage capacity in litres does not tell you whether a rigid folded pushchair can pass through it.
Use the fold configuration you will actually carry. A separate carry cot, buggy board, footmuff or shopping bag needs its own space. Try lifting the folded model without your child nearby, and test the latch and boot closure in person.
Published dimensions and sources
Source dimensions checked on 9 September 2026. These are manufacturer figures, not our own physical measurements. Model names and generations matter.
| Model | Folded dimensions | Configuration |
|---|---|---|
| Bugaboo Butterfly 2 | 44.8 × 24.5 × 55.5 cm | Manufacturer’s compact fold; check accessories separately. |
| Joie Versatrax | 86 × 65.5 × 36 cm | Published folded pushchair dimensions; carry cot is separate. |
| Joie Signature Parcel | 28.8 × 49.5 × 75.5 cm | Original Parcel model; these figures do not describe Parcel LX or Parcel Pop. |
What does the result mean?
The calculator rotates a rectangular box through six orientations and checks the internal space and opening with your chosen allowance. It does not model diagonal manoeuvres, curved trim or deformable fabric. A positive calculation is a reason to arrange a physical try-out, not a fit guarantee. Airline cabin acceptance is a separate check with the operating airline.
