A double is a different product from a single with a ride-on board. Side-by-side (twins at the same height, wider) versus tandem (front-and-back, longer, narrower) is the decision that matters. Most UK terraces and Tesco aisles punish width; most UK boots punish length. Measure both.

Skip the category if you mostly drive and the children will sit in car seats; a double that only does the supermarket car park is a lot of money for a short walk.
