We believe transparency builds trust. When a factual mistake, technical specification change, or safety notice is reported or identified, we update the article and record the change in this public log.
Added UKHSA nursery and school exclusion guidance (table updated 7 September 2026) to each illness page, including the current chickenpox rule of staying away until 5 days after the rash first appears. Fixed FAQ answers that ran symptom lists together without punctuation.
Removed headings and sentences that implied months of hands-on ownership ("Six months in", "after months of use"). These reviews are research-based assessments of published information, as their method notes state.
Removed three earlier log entries (dated 20 June, 15 July and 1 August 2026) that could not be matched to a documented change. One pre-dated the launch of the site.
Removed numerical product scores, star ratings and owner-survey figures that were not backed by a documented scoring or testing record, and corrected monitor and white-noise safety wording against Lullaby Trust and AAP guidance.
Updated Statutory Maternity Pay flat weekly rate and Lower Earnings Limit from 2025/26 figures (£187.18 / £125) to the 2026/27 HMRC rates (£194.32 / £129), checked 12 August 2026 against GOV.UK rates and thresholds for employers. The maternity-pay calculator now uses the same figures.
