Start with the fit

Car seat size & ISOFIX finder

Compare published limits, then check the exact seat, base and vehicle combination with the manufacturer.

Find models to check with a fitter

This compares the published rear-facing height and weight limits of three models. It does not approve a seat for your vehicle or replace an individual fitting check.

Measurements stay on this page and are not sent to analytics.

Four checks before choosing a seat

  1. Identify the exact seat model and base. Similar product names can have different approval limits.
  2. Check your child against every limit in the manual, including the harness or headrest fit. Do not use an approximate age as the only test.
  3. Use the manufacturer's fitting list for the vehicle model, year and seating position. Read footnotes about storage compartments and support legs.
  4. Arrange a fitting demonstration and check the vehicle manual. Follow instructions about airbags, installation indicators and permitted accessories.

Why ISOFIX alone is not enough

ISOFIX describes an attachment system. The presence of anchor points does not confirm that every rotating seat, support leg or base is suitable in every position. If your car is missing from a fitting list, ask the manufacturer or a trained retailer to check it.
