When will I be induced if labour doesn't start?
Most UK units offer induction between 41 and 42 weeks, because the small risk of complications rises past 42. You can decline and choose extra monitoring instead — it's a discussion, not an order. Induction typically starts with a pessary or gel, then breaking the waters, then a hormone drip only if needed.
